Your guest home for your stay is unique, one of the very few envelope homes in Canada. A large solarium on the south side heats the air, which then passes through the attic and down through the hollow north wall, providing continuous air circulation. This passive solar heating and a modern wood stove work so well that the electric heat is rarely needed.

The solarium also serves as a greenhouse and provides a relaxing sitting area with a good view of the grounds, including several bird feeders. Enjoy your breakfast or a coffee here, or simply wind down at the end of your day.

The home is surrounded by gardens and large trees providing many opportunities for glimpses of the wildlife that inhabits the property. An extensive deck with comfortable seating enhances the views.

Our hot tub seats eight, and is enclosed in a cabana to ensure your privacy.
